Advertising veteran Judy B. David spent her childhood without having her own set of letter¬†blocks to play with (CUE THE VIOLINS), and yet, the alphabet became her lifelong obsession — especially in her work — writing tag lines and headlines that become powerful mind-brand connections, help build sales and make clients fall in love with their brand all over again.

David’s career began in St. Louis, home of her alma mater, Washington University, at the Midwest branch of then-top New York agency, Wells, Rich, Greene. Her campaign for Puppy Chow gave Purina the market share lead for six years and earned national awards, and, yes, a corner office for the client.

McCann-Erickson brought David to Atlanta for Coca-Cola and KFC promotions. Her work on Coke brands grew into a 15-year freelance relationship with Coke’s consumer, bottler, promotion and fountain divisions.

Remaining Atlanta-based, Judy worked independently and launched an all-freelancers creative and production service, helping Haagen Dazs, Atlanta C&VB, SE Hyatt and Holiday Inns, Chick-fil-A, IBM, Sunkist, MARTA transit, Delta and others (working for their agencies or directly). Her colleagues and clients reaped many regional and national creative and promotion awards, including a local Best of Show and national Silver ADDY. David was profiled in various media and was named Best Atlanta Business Writer. She mentored ad interns, judged national creative competitions and spoke at Georgia State University, the University of Georgia and other schools.

David then headed west, earning local ADDYs in San Diego for clients Efi Gravity/Total Gym (ads became health club art) and Neyenesch Printers (a 25% sales increase).

Now settled in Los Angeles, Judy applies her award-winning, proprietary creative process to HEADLINES, TAG LINES and other BRANDING ideation, plus CONCEPTS and IDEAS for ADS, PROMOTIONS and EVENTS. She also provides editing and staff support. She works off-site, solo, or on-site as part of a team.

Judy likes to think up product inventions and humor, sharpen her photography skills, and perform acting and singing to lenient crowds.
